Toyota Innova Crysta Diesel discontinued 

Toyota has stopped the sale of Innova Crysta Diesel in India.

All the Toyota dealerships in the country have stopped taking bookings for the diesel variant of the Innova Crysta.

All the previously booked Innova Crysta diesel will be delivered by the end of this month. 

Currently in india, the Innova Crysta is offered in two engine options - 2.7 liter naturally aspirated petrol and 2.4 liter diesel engine. 

Some sources said that, the bookings will resume in January 2023

According to some reports, Toyota has discontinued the Diesle variant of the Innova Crysta because the company is planning to launch the fourth generation 2023 Innova this year. 

The codename for the upcoming 2023 Innova is 560B. 

The new 2023 Innova will be built on more modern monocoque chassis that’s based on the brand’s new TNGA-C architecture. 

Its design will be inspired from the company’s Voxy and Noah MPVs.

The next generation 2023 Innova will get petrol hybrid powerplant instead of the usual reliable diesel engine.

The upcoming Innova will be 4.7 meters long which is slightly shorter than the existing Innova Crysta. 

It will have more space than the existing Innova Crysta because the wider body and longer wheelbase of 2850 mm

Because of the hybrid powerplant, the overall weight of the upcoming Innova will be 170 kg lighter than the current Innova Crysta.
