2024 Tata Harrier Facelift launched at Rs 15.49 lakh – Gets 5 Star GNCAP rating

The new Tata Harrier facelift scored 5 start in Global NCAP crash test and it is available in four variants – Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Fearless

Tata motors has launched the Harrier facelift in India following the launch of the Nexon facelift and Nexon EV. The introductory ex-showroom of the Harrier facelift starts from Rs 15.49 lakh for the base model and it goes up to Rs 24.49 lakh for the top model.

The new Harrier facelift is available in four variants Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Fearless along with multiple optional packages. The Automatic powertrain is only available from the Adventure+ variants.

The Smart (O) variant comes with features such as LED headlight, LED Taillight, LED DRL, 17-inch alloy wheels, TPMS, ESP, Six airbags, ABS with EBD, and three-point seatbelt with a reminder.

The 2024 Tata Harrier facelift Pure (O) comes with a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless connectivity options, a 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster, a reverse camera, a six-speaker audio system, and lot more.

What’s new in the new Harrier Facelift

Talking about the updates, the facelifted Harrier gets a larger 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, ambient lighting, memory and welcome function, powered front passenger seat with ventilation, a 360-degree camera system, dual-zone auto AC, powered driver seat with ventilation, ADAS, gesture-controlled powered liftgate, 9-speaker JBL audio, seven airbags (in Fearless+ trim), emergency and breakdown call assist, and a lot more. The new Harrier also gets an animated LED DRL at the front as well as the rear.

Interior updates also include four spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, and capacitive controls for the AC. More premium surface materials and the trims further elevate the overall appeal of the interior.

The exterior looks inspired by the Harrier EV concept as it gets new front fascia with a revised split headlamp cluster with a horizontal LED light bar, a new bumper, a connected LED tail lamp and new color schemes.

The new Harrier facelift comes with 7 color options that includes Lunar White, Oberon Black, Sunlit Yellow, Coral Red, Pebble Grey, Seaweed Green and Ash Grey.

Harrier facelift with enhanced safety

For the safety, the 2024 Harrier gets features like anti-lock brakes with EBD, rollover mitigation, corner stability control, six airbags, hill hold control, traction control, after-impact braking, panic brake alert, and perimetric alarm system and ISOFIX child seat mounts as standard.

2024 Harrier facelift scores 5 Star safety rating

The Facelifted Harrier and Safari both scored 5 star in Global NCAP crash test. Both the SUV scored 33.05 out of 34 points for Adult Occupant Protection and 45 points out of 49 for Child Occupant Protection. In the crash test, the footwell area and the body shell have been rated as stable. This is a result of some changes done by Tata Motors for better safety rating.

No mechanical changes in the Facelifted Harrier 2024

In terms of engine and performance, there are no changes has been made to the mechanicals of the SUV. It continues to get the same 2.0L four-cylinder Kryotec four-cylinder diesel engine the produces a max power of 170 PS and peak torque of 350 Nm. The engine is mated to a six speed manual transmission as standard and the optional six-speed torque converter automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
