Tata Nexon EV Prime Launched at Rs 14.99 Lakhs 

In Tata's BEV lineup, the Tata Nexon EV Prime takes the place of the standard Nexon EV. 

Tata Motors quietly introduced the Nexon EV Prime, with prices starting at Rs. 14.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The Prime has more functions but is powered by the same engine and battery pack as the previous generation. 

The multi-mode regen function with automatic brake lamp activation is among the extra features, and it exudes sophistication and technology.

Regenerative braking has four stages, with level 0 turning the system off and level 3 providing the most intrusion.

Cruise control, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) through smartphone app, and connected technology integrated into smartwatches are additional feature upgrades. 

From July 25 onward, these updates will be provided without charge to current owners.

The Ziptron powertrain, which comes with a 3 phase permanent magnet synchronous motor and a 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that has received IP67 certification, powers the Nexon EV Prime. 

The motor is paired with an automatic transmission and produces 245 Nm and 127 HP

Tata is giving customers of the electric car piece of mind by providing an 8-year/1.6 lakh km warranty. 

The Nexon EV can be charged up to 80% in 60 minutes using a fast charger, and the company is also offering a 3.3 kW AC on-board charger.
