Mahindra XUV400 Electric vs Tata Nexon EV

Mahindra has launched the XUV400 electric SUV at Auto Expo 2023.

Mahindra XUV400 EV gives tough competition to Tata Nexon EV

The Mahindra XUV400 EV is 4200 mm long and 1821 mm wide while the Tata Nexon EV is 3993 mm long and 1811 mm wide. 

XUV400 electric comes in three variants whereas the Nexon EV comes in 5 variants.

Mahindra XUV400 comes with two battery pack options - 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh. 

While the Tata Nexon EV comes with only 30.2 kWh battery pack.

Nexon EV produces 127 bhp and 245 Nm torque while the XUV400 electric produces 147.51 bhp and 310 Nm torque. 

The XUV400 electric can give a range of up to 456 km on single charge while the Nexon EV can give a range of up to 312 km on single charge. 

The XUV400 can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 8.3 seconds while the Nexon EV does 0-100 kmph in 9.9 seconds.

With 50 kW DC fast charger, Mahindra XUV400 takes 50 minutes while the Nexon EV takes 56 - 60 minutes to full charge. 

The ex-showroom price of the Mahindra XUV400 Electric starts from Rs 15.99 lakhs while the Nexon EV’s price starts from Rs 14.99 lakhs.
