Mahindra Scorpio N Pikup Overview
Mahindra has just revealed the new Scorpio N Pickup concept, which is like a pickup truck version of their popular Scorpio N model. It looks a bit like the Scorpio N, especially the LED headlights, but those headlights have been improved with different LED daytime lights. They’ve also changed the front grille, added a vertical LED strip for the fog lights, and redone the front bumper. The back of the truck is new too, with changes to the cargo area and a higher part at the front that might have a winch.
The truck keeps the same doors, side mirrors, and the way the windows are bent. In the pictures they’ve shown, it has a high-snorkel on the driver’s side of the front roof pillar, a rack on top with extra LED lights, steps on the sides, and tough off-road wheels (there are even two spare wheels stacked in the back). At the back, there’s a gate that can open to load things into the truck bed. It has the word “Mahindra” on it and special vertical lights.
The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N Pik up will be powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine which is also used in the Scorpio N SUV. The engine produces max power of 130 hp to 172 hp and peak torque of 300 Nm to 400 Nm.
Scorpio N Pikup safety features
While Mahindra hasn’t told us everything the Pik Up can do, they did mention that it can connect to 5G networks and it has a sunroof with one big piece of glass. For safety, it has airbags all around and some features of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) including driver drowsiness detection.. It’s good to know that the Scorpio N’s platform has done really well in safety tests, getting a top score of 5 stars in Global NCAP crash test.
Mahindra Scorpio N Pikup 0-100 kmph and top speed
The new Scorpio N Pik up is expected to deliver a similar power figure as the Scorpio N SUV. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 14 seconds and it can hit the top speed of 165 kmph. The real performance figures will be revealed once the pickup truck is launched. To keep safety in mind, Mahindra may limit the top speed of its upcoming Scorpio N Pik up.
Mahindra Scorpio N Pik Up Mileage
The current Scorpio N diesel variant offers a mileage of around 14 kmpl and the upcoming Scorpio N Pik up is also expected to offer similar mileage.
Mahindra Scorpio N Pikup price and launch date
The Mahindra Scorpio N Pik up is expected to cost around Rs 15 – 21 lakh (ex-showroom) and it is expected to launch in 2026. Mahindra will first the Scorpio N Pikup truck in international markets like Africa, Australia, ASEAN and Latin America.
