The Mahindra Scorpio Classic is available in two variants – S and S11. The ex-showroom price of the base S variant is Rs 11.99 lakh, and the top-end S11 variant is Rs 15.49 lakh.
The Scorpio is one of the most popular products from Mahindra which has got lots of updates over time. Recently, Mahindra launched the Scorpio N, which set a record by getting 1,00,000 booking,s in under 30 minutes.
Now Mahindra has launched the Scorpio Classic with some updates inside and outside. The New Scorpio Classic retains the classic silhouette of the outgoing Scorpio.
The new Scorpio classic comes with enhanced performance, a refreshed design, contemporary interiors, improved ride quality, and built-in technology.
The new Scorpio Classic gets a new grille along with a muscular bonnet and the new twin-peaks logo. The lighting setup too gets a slight update as there are new DRLs along with refreshed headlamps and new fog lamps.

It gets dual-tone cladding on the outside and all-new dual-tone diamond-cut R17 alloy wheels. Mahindra has also brought back the Classic Scorpio Tower tail lamp setup, this time with LED lighting elements, to support the “Classic” badge.
Talking about the interior, it now gets contrasting Black and beige interior theme along with a premium quilted upholstery. It comes with a classic wood pattern console and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with phone mirroring.
The new Scorpio Classic is available in 5 color options – Red Rage, Napoli Black, Dsat Silver, Pearl White, and a newly introduced Galaxy Grey.
Talking about the powertrain, The new Mahindra Scorpion Classic is powered by all-aluminum 4-cylinder second generation mHawk diesel engine that produces max power of 130 Hp and peak torque of 300 Nm. Because of the aluminium material, it is 55 kgs lighter than the pre-facelift model.
Because of the reduction in weight and other advancement, the new Scorpio Classic will deliver 14% better fuel economy than the predessor.
To reduce the gear shifting efforts, Mahindra has brought the new 6-speed manual with cable shift technology.
MTV-CL technology has been added to the suspension setup to improve ride and handling. For improved control and manoeuvrability, the steering system has undergone significant development.
