Tata Punch iCNG Overview
Tata Motors has unveiled its latest offering, the all-new 2023 Tata Punch, now available with a CNG option. Emphasizing the paramount importance of safety, the Punch iCNG is built on Tata’s robust ALFA Architecture platform, earning it an impressive 5-Star Global NCAP adult safety rating. With prices ranging from Rs 7.1 lakh to Rs 9.68 lakh (ex-showroom), the Punch CNG emerges as an affordable alternative compared to its rival, the Hyundai Exter CNG.
Ensuring the utmost safety, the Punch iCNG incorporates ultra-high strength steel and a reinforced body structure, providing a sturdy and rigid frame. Special features such as a micro-switch to shut off the car during refueling and thermal incident protection diverting excess CNG away from the engine further bolster its safety credentials.
Tata has ingeniously positioned the twin CNG cylinders beneath the luggage area, retaining ample boot space without compromising on safety. The six-point mounting system for the CNG tanks reinforces rear crash safety, making it a well-rounded choice for safety-conscious customers.
