2023 Kia Seltos Overview

Kia has launched the 2023 Seltos in India that will compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, etc. The new 2023 Kia Seltos is available in multiple variants which include HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX+, and X Line.

Kia Seltos exterior:

The 2023 Kia Seltos has undergone several significant exterior updates compared to its earlier counterpart. These changes encompass a re-designed front fascia, a larger grille, and revised halogen/LED headlamps complemented by distinctive daytime running lights (DRLs). Additionally, the car now features new bumpers and revised tail lamps, enhancing its overall appearance.

Another noticeable modification is the introduction of new steel/alloy wheel designs, available in 16, 17, or 18 inches depending on the chosen variant, providing a wide array of stylish options to cater to various preferences.

In terms of dimensions, the 2023 Kia Seltos has grown in size. It now stands at 4,315mm in length, surpassing the measurements of its earlier model. The width remains consistent at 1,800mm, while the height has been increased to 1,645mm. This growth in height and length contributes to a more commanding road presence for the Seltos.

The car boasts a 2,610 mm long wheelbase, which not only aids in providing more interior space but also enhances stability at higher speeds, making for a smoother and more secure driving experience.

Furthermore, Kia has ensured the Seltos maintains a respectable ground clearance of 190mm, enabling it to tackle uneven terrains with ease. Additionally, the car offers a spacious 433-liter boot, providing ample room for cargo and daily necessities.

2023 Seltos interior:

Inside the car, the 2023 Kia Seltos comes equipped with comfortable fabric upholstery. The interior features a fully digital cluster boasting a 10.25cm (4.2 inch) color TFT MID, providing essential information in a modern and visually appealing manner. The convenience continues with a tilt steering wheel, gear shift indicators, and all power windows with illumination, ensuring easy access and enhanced visibility.

For charging devices, the Seltos offers a C-Type USB charger, with one conveniently located in the front and two additional ones at the rear, accommodating the needs of passengers in both rows. Moreover, there’s a 12V power outlet in the front for additional charging options.

In terms of practicality and comfort, the Seltos includes various thoughtful features. These include a headlamp escort function, a sunglass holder, and a passenger-side sun visor with a vanity mirror. The driver’s seat is height-adjustable for personalized comfort, while the front-row seats are equipped with seat belt height adjusters and adjustable headrests, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride for everyone on board.

The Seltos HTE variant boasts extra features such as a retractable roof assist handle, a sunshade curtain for the rear door, rear AC vents to keep the backseat passengers cool, front map lamps for added convenience, and rear room lamps for a well-lit and pleasant ambiance in the cabin. The dashboard features an elegant silver finish, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall interior design.

2023 Kia Seltos color options:

The new 2023 Kia Seltos comes in 9 color options – Intense Red, Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Pewter Olive, Aurora Black Pearl, Imperial Blue, Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Gray and Intense Red with Aurora Black Pearl.

Kia Seltos 0-100 kmph and top speed

The all new 2023 Kia Seltos can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 8.9 seconds and it can hit a top speed of around 167 kmph.

Kia Seltos Mileage

The Kia Seltos is offered with two engine options petrol and Diesel. The petrol variant of the Seltos offers a mileage of around 9.4 – 14.1 kmpl and Diesel variant offers a mileage of around 12.9 kmpl to 19.1 kmpl.
