Earlier this year, Tata Motors showcased a near-production version of the Harrier EV at the Auto Expo in Delhi. Tata Harrier EV is expected to be launched in 2024 in India and the price is upward of Rs.26 lakh.

The upcoming Tata Harrier EV will certainly strengthen the brand’s ever-growing line up of all-electric models in the domestic market. Notably, it will be the first electric vehicle built on the OMEGA (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced) architecture.
Tata Harrier EV design is based on The car C-segment SUV based on the OmegaArc Platform, an essentially re-engineered version of the Jaguar Land Rover.
Other details in the model’s instrument could include a temperature gauge, time, mobile connectivity, music, notifications, and home and search icons.
The equipment list will comprise a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, an all-digital instrument console, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a 360-degree camera system, Level 2 ADAS based driver assistive and safety tech.
It will more likely feature V2L and V2V capabilities to further enhance its practicality.
The all-electric Harrier is expected to maintain a close resemblance to the recently launched Harrier facelift, with only minor revisions made to accentuate its electric appeal.

The facelifted version of the ICE model features a redesigned appearance, incorporating a triangular-shaped headlamp surround, a new grille (which is blanked-off for the EV variant), fresh alloy wheels, and a set of updated LED taillights. Additionally, potential offerings include LED light bars at both the front and rear ends.

2024 Harrier EV exterior:
The Tata Harrier EV features a sealed front grille, an illuminated Tata logo, stacked LED headlamps, streamlined LED Daytime Running Lights, a broad air inlet, two-tone alloy wheels, connected LED tail lamps, an EV badge positioned on the front doors, and prominent Harrier EV lettering on the tailgate, mirroring the concept design.
Harrier EV interior:
The Tata Harrier EV may feature a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a fully digital color instrument cluster, an electric parking brake with an auto-hold function, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, drive modes, and a new gear dial. The carmaker has not yet disclosed the specifications and details of the battery pack.

Tata Harrier and Safari both were able to achieve a 5 Star Safety Rating in GNCAP for Adult and Child protection and the upcoming Harrier EV is also expected to score 5 star in GNCAP.

Upon its arrival, the production-ready Harrier EV will stand out as the sole electric alternative in its segment. Positioned as a potential larger alternative to models such as the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona EV, Tata Motors is anticipated to competitively price the Harrier EV when it becomes available for sale.
