KTM has recently uncovered the 2024 iteration of its 390 Duke, marking the bike’s third generation. This latest version has made its debut in global markets, boasting an entirely fresh design and notable enhancements to its engine performance.
2024 KTM Duke 390 design changes
In comparison to its predecessor, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer has implemented a substantial array of changes. The front end showcases a wider LED headlamp, exuding a more aggressive aura with its expanded LED daytime running lights (DRLs). Furthermore, the tank shrouds have been significantly enlarged and extended, accompanied by subtle modifications to the tank’s overall design.
These collective adjustments have harmoniously sculpted the bike’s appearance, lending it a more refined aesthetic. The seat structure has been reimagined with a split-type design, while the rear sub-frame remains exposed, adding a touch of distinctive style.

A cursory glance is enough to ascertain that the 2024 KTM 390 Duke has grown in size compared to its predecessor. In terms of hardware, the trellis frame now comes with a powder coating. The front end is equipped with 43mm upside-down front forks, complemented by a rear monoshock.
The front shock absorbers are endowed with both rebound and compression adjustment features, whereas the monoshock offers adjustments for preload and rebound. Braking prowess is delivered through a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc. The bike features a comprehensive ABS system, including dual-channel, cornering, and SuperMoto functionalities. The 17-inch alloy wheels are outfitted with high-quality Michelin tires.

The rider’s interface is a 5-inch TFT display, presenting comprehensive information. This system is not only smartphone-compatible but also integrates turn-by-turn navigation and controls for calls and music.
2024 KTM Duke 390 now gets bigger engine
The previous generation Duke 390 has 373 cc engine that produces 42.9 bhp and 37 Nm of torque but the new 2024 KTM Duke 390 gets bigger engine and it produces more power too.
The 2024 Duke 390 is powered by a 399 cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine that produces a max power of 44 bhp and peak torque of 39 Nm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slipper clutch and a bi-directional quick-shifter for smooth gear changes. The bike is equipped with an assortment of rider aids, including three distinct ride modes (street, rain, and track), launch control, and more.
2024 KTM Duke 390 price and launch date
KTM has revealed the updated Duke 390 in the international market but its price is yet to revealed. In India, we can expect an increase in the prices as it gets lots of new updates.
