Yamaha YZF-R3 Overview

The Yamaha R3 has been discontinued in India but the bikemaker is planning to launch this motorcycle again in India. The Yamaha R3 is one of the best bike in 400cc segment that competes with likes of KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300, and other bikes in the segment.

The Yamaha YZF R3 is powered by 321 cc twin cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine that produces a max power of 42 HP and peak torque of 29.6 Nm (21.8 lb-ft). The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper and assist clutch. It gets USD forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 298 mm disc at the front and 220 mm disc at the rear.
