Mahindra Bolero Electric Overview

Mahindra is planning to launch the electric versions of their most popular SUVs like Thar, Bolero, Scorpio, and XUV. All the new Mahindra electric SUVs will be based on the company’s new INGLO platform. The upcoming Mahindra Bolero electric will also based on INGLO platform. Everything in the SUV will be new excluding the signature features of the SUV.

The new Mahindra Bolero.e (Bolero Electric) will get either a single motor setup or dual motor setup. Mahindra is sourcing the powertrains from Volkswagen and Valeo.

The front motor setup sourced from VW produces 110 PS of power and 135 Nm of torque where as the rear motor setup from VW produces 285 PS of power and 535 Nm of torque. The rear motor setup from Valeo produces a max power of 231 PS and a peak torque of 380 Nm.

The upcoming Mahindra Bolero Electric will have multiple powertrain options which customers can choose from.
