The 2021 Toyota Fortuner facelifted was launched last month and it manages to maintain its position in the market. The Toyota has shared that the new Fortuner and Lagender SUV’s has grabbed more than 5000 bookings since the launch.
But according to Toyota, the Fortuner is still leading the market with having 53% share in the segment. The company is expecting record further growth in the SUV’s segment after the arrival of Toyota Legender.
Toyota Fortuner Facelift and Legender prices
The Toyota Fortuner facelift prices start from Rs 29.98 lakh and go up to Rs 37.43 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) in India. And the top-spec Legender is priced at Rs 37.58 lakh (Ex-showroom)
The new 2021 Toyota Fortuner only got the design and features related updates but there are no changes in the power figures. The SUV is powered by a 2.7 litre petrol engine which produces maximum power of 164 bhp and a peak torque of 245 Nm.
This petrol variant of the Fortuner is available in two option the 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. And the other engine option for the Fortuner is a 2.8-litre diesel engine which produces 201 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque with 6-speed automatic transmission and 201 bhp and 420 Nm torque with 6-speed manual gearbox.
