Bajaj Auto has been on a roll lately, expanding its line of Pulsar models under the N series. The latest addition to this family is quite a pocket-friendly option. Straight out of their manufacturing facility in Chakan, Bajaj has just introduced the Pulsar N150, positioning it just below the highly-praised Pulsar N160. With a price tag of Rs. 1,17,134 (ex-showroom, Delhi), it enters a fiercely competitive market segment.

The Bajaj Pulsar N150 is all set to go head-to-head with various sporty-looking naked commuter motorcycles in the entry-level category. Interestingly, its price is nearly identical to the Pulsar P150. However, the key difference between the two lies in their looks. The Pulsar N150 takes design inspiration from the N160, giving it a more aggressive and sporty appearance, while the Pulsar P150 sticks to the conservative styling often associated with commuter bikes.

Pulsar N150 features

When it comes to the front end, the Pulsar N150 boasts a sporty LED projector headlamp unit, flanked by LED Daytime Running Lights on both sides. Other notable features include a single-piece seat, a muscular fuel tank that it shares with the Pulsar N160, a compact tail section, a single-piece tubular grab rail, and sleek black alloy wheels with contrasting rim stickers.

You’ll have the option to choose from three eye-catching colors for the Pulsar N150: Racing Red, Ebony Black, and Metallic Pearl White.

Adding to its appeal, the Pulsar N150 comes equipped with a side-stand engine cut-off function and a semi-digital instrument cluster that boasts an LCD display. This cluster provides essential information such as speed, trip data, RPM, and more. Excitingly, the bike is already making its way to dealerships all across the country, with deliveries expected to start rolling out very soon.

When it comes to suspension, the Pulsar N150 features 31 mm telescopic front forks and twin-sided shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are expertly managed by a 260 mm front disc and a 130 mm rear drum brake, complemented by a single-channel ABS system for added safety. This motorcycle rides on MRF rubber, with 90/90-17 front and 120/70-17 rear tires providing excellent grip.

Shares engine with the Pulsar P150

Under the hood, it shares its engine with the Pulsar P150. Powering this machine is a 149.6 cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected engine that produces a maximum power output of 14.5 bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 13.5 Nm, delivered at 6,000 rpm. This powerplant is paired with a smooth five-speed transmission.
