The Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched its new 125 CC scooter, the Avenis in India with a starting price of Rs 86,700 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The Avenis 125 will be available for booking from the first week of December.
The Suzuki Avenis will be available in two options – Ride Connect Edition and Race Edition. It is Suzuki’s third scooter in its 125 cc segment after the currently ongoing Access 125 and Burgman Street 125.
Talking about the looks, the Avenis125 CC scooter looks a little identical to TVS Ntorq. The new scooter by Suzuki features a dual-tone paint scheme with sporty graphics, a LED headlamp and taillights, a meter visor, split grab handle, alloy wheels, and an external fuel cap.
The Avenis 125 comes with multiple features like engine kill switch, dual luggage hooks, under-seat and front storage, side stand interlock, USB charger, a digital instrument display with smartphone connectivity, missed call, SMS, and WhatsApp alerts, caller ID, and turn-by-turn navigation.
The Suzuki Avenis uses the same 124.3 CC air-cooled engine which is used in the Burgman Street 125. Its engine produces a max power of 8.7 PS and a peak torque of 10 Nm. It comes with a CVT gearbox.
The newly launch scooter is weighing around 106 kg along with a 5.2-liter fuel tank. It has a 12-inch front wheel with a 90/90 section tyre and a 10 inch rear wheel with 90/100 section tyres.
It has a telescopic front fork and the Monoshock at the rear and the breaking duties are handled by a disc brake upfront and a drum brake in the back.
Available colors for the Suzuki Avenis: Its Ride connect Edition is available in four colors – Pearl Mirage White with Fibroin Grey, Matte Fibroin Grey with Lush Green, Pearl Blaze Orange with Glass Sparkle Black, and Matte Black with Glass Sparkle Black while the Race edition is only available in single Metallic Triton Blue paint which is inspired by the brand’s MotoGP racers.
