The Skoda Kushaq Onyx Plus is only available with manual transmission while the Slavia Ambition Plus is available with both manual and automatic transmission.
Kushaq Onyx Plus:
Skoda India has introduced the Kushaq Onyx Plus trim for its SUV lineup. This trim offers enhanced design features and exclusive exchange and corporate offers for a limited time, aiming to attract Indian buyers during the festive season.
The Kushaq Onyx Plus is exclusively available with a manual transmission. It comes at an attractive price point of Rs. 11,59,000 (ex-showroom). Notably, this pricing is Rs. 80,000 less than the Onyx Edition 1.0L TSI MT (ex-showroom). Despite the lower price, it offers features like 16″ Grus alloy wheels, window chrome garnish, grill garnish, and trunk chrome garnish, making it a great value-for-money option.
Skoda offers the Kushaq Onyx Plus in two color options: Candy White and Carbon Steel. This variant competes with rivals such as the recently launched Honda Elevate, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota HyRyder, and its sibling, the VW Taigun.

Slavia Ambition Plus:
In the sedan segment, Skoda has introduced the Slavia Ambition Plus trim. Similar to the Kushaq Onyx Plus, it also comes with enhanced design elements and exclusive offers for a limited time.
The Slavia Ambition Plus is available with both manual and automatic transmission options. It is competitively priced, starting at Rs. 12,49,000 for the manual variant and Rs. 13,79,000 for the automatic variant (both ex-showroom). The manual variant is Rs. 70,000 more affordable than the Ambition 1.0L TSI MT (ex-showroom).
Like the Kushaq Onyx Plus, the Slavia Ambition Plus features added chrome elements on the front grill, trunk, and doors. An exceptional feature of this trim is the built-in dashcam unit, a segment-first addition that enhances the quality of life for potential buyers.
The Slavia Ambition Plus competes in the sedan segment against rivals like the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, and its platform partner, the Volkswagen Virtus. It distinguishes itself as the first and only sedan in its class to feature a built-in dashcam.
Skoda Slavia and Kushaq engine options
Both the Skoda Slavia and Kushaq come with two engine options: a 1.0L 3-cylinder TSI unit and a 1.5L 4-cylinder TSI engine. The former produces 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque, while the latter generates 148 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic torque converter, and a 7-speed DSG. It’s worth noting that these new Plus trims do not offer the higher-spec 1.5L turbo petrol engine.
Slavia and Kushaq safety features
Safety features encompass up to 6 airbags, Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and a 5-star crash safety rating from Global NCAP, among others.
