Yamaha introduces limited Monster Energy MotoGP Edition for YZF-R15M, MT-15 V2.0, and Ray ZR 125 Fi, with Aerox 155 up next.

Yamaha enthusiasts in India have something exciting to look forward to as the iconic Japanese manufacturer has recently unveiled the 2023 Monster Energy MotoGP Edition models. This special edition is available for three Yamaha favorites: the YZF-R15M, the MT-15 V2.0, and the Ray ZR 125 Fi. Additionally, Yamaha plans to introduce the Monster Energy MotoGP Edition for the Aerox 155 soon, adding to the thrill.

The YZF-R15M and MT-15 V2.0 feature the striking Yamaha MotoGP livery on the fuel tank shrouds, the fuel tank itself, and the side panels. This design pays homage to Yamaha’s rich racing heritage, where the brand has secured numerous championships in various racing disciplines. On the other hand, the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Ray ZR get the MotoGP livery covering their entire bodies, ensuring they stand out in style.

Speaking about this exciting launch, Eishin Chihana, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies, expressed, “There is a lot of enthusiasm among Yamaha fans to witness the first-ever MotoGP race in India. Yamaha Monster Energy MotoGP Edition prices

Pricing for these special editions is as follows: Rs. 92,330 for the Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid, Rs. 1,72,700 for the MT-15 V2.0, and Rs. 1,97,200 for the YZF-R15M supersport. It’s important to note that no mechanical changes have been made to these models; the enhancements are purely graphical.

Yamaha has more in store for its fans this festive season. They are gearing up to launch the BSVI stage 2 compliant YZF-R3 and MT-03, both equipped with a powerful 321 cc parallel-twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, promising an exhilarating ride for motorcycle enthusiasts.

No changes in the powertrains

Yamaha’s special edition bikes have a cool, understated look. The wheels are all black, and only the R15 has a slick Racing Blue stripe, which the other two models don’t get. The R15 and MT-15 have powerful 155cc engines that make around 18 bhp and 14.2 Nm of torque. They come with a 6-speed gearbox for smooth riding.

On the other hand, the Ray ZR 125 Fi has a smaller 125cc engine that makes about 8 bhp and 10.3 Nm of torque. Yamaha hasn’t released the Monster Energy MotoGP Edition for the Aerox 155 scooter yet, but they say it’s coming soon. So, if you’re a Yamaha fan, there’s more to look forward to!
