“The Fastest Indian is back again with its new avatar. Bajaj has launched the new Pulsar 150 with a completely new design.

The Pulsar P150 is more sportier, sharper, and lighter thanks to the new design language. It boasts a new aerodynamic 3D front with a dramatic interplay of metalized, dual colours that epitomises sculptural purity. While the twin-disc version features a sportier stance and a split seat, the single-disc version allows for a more upright stance. 

A slim waistline that continues to a contoured seat shape contrasts with a dynamic tank profile. The dimensions, which include a 790mm seat height, are designed for rider comfort. 

The design assures superior balance and handling, making it one of the most manoeuvrable bikes in its class. It features a redesigned mono-shock rear suspension and an underbelly exhaust that is placed close to the bike’s centre of gravity.

Along with these major improvements, a 10-kg weight reduction (for the twin-disc type) results in an 11% rise in the power-to-weight ratio, further boosting the bike’s sporty characteristics.

The all new 2023 Bajaj Pulsar P150 comes with 5 color options – Racing Red, Caribbean Blue, Ebony Black Red, Ebony Black Blue, and Ebony Black White.

New Bajaj Pulsar P150 Engine and performance:

A brand-new 149.68cc engine provides the Pulsar P150 with best-in-class power and immediate throttle response. It produces a maximum power of 14.5 Ps at 8500 RPM  and peak torque of 13.5 Nm at 6000 RPM.

The motorcycle can give the coveted “Pulsar rush” and be the first off the line in any circumstance since 90% of the torque is accessible across the useable RPM range. The most refined Pulsar 150 to date, which effortlessly navigates city streets, is complemented by an improved gear shift and a damper for enhanced NVH Management.

Tyres and Brakes:

The new Pulsar P150 gets 31 mm telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 260 mm front disc and 230 mm rear disc in dual disc variant meanwhile the single disc variant gets a 130 mm drum brake at the rear.

It gets 17 inches of alloy wheels at both ends. The single disc variant gets 80/100-17 size front tyre and 100/90-17 size rear tyre, while the twin disc variant gets 90/90-17 size front tyre and 110/80-17 size rear tyre.

The Pulsar P150 single-disc variant gets a single continuous seat and single tubular handlebar whereas the twin-disc variant gets a split seat and clip-on handlebar.

The twin-disc variant of the new Pulsar P150 costs Rs 1,19,757 (ex-showroom Delhi) and Rs 1,19,565 (ex-showroom Kolkata), while the single-disc variant costs Rs 1,16,755 (ex-showroom New Delhi) and Rs 1,16,563 (ex-showroom Kolkata). are the 5 colours that will be offered for both models.
