KTM has unveiled an exciting update for its popular 390 Adventure motorcycle in 2023. As part of this update, the company has introduced a new variant known as the Spoke Wheel (SW) variant. While most of the features remain the same as the standard variant, the 390 Adventure SW variant boasts exclusive wire-spoke wheels.
This variant is aimed at riders who desire a more dynamic look and feel for their bike, combining retro and contemporary aesthetics.

The ex-showroom price of the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure spoke wheel variant starts from Rs 3.6 lakh ex-showroom which is Rs 22,000 more than the standard variant.

One notable addition to the new variant is the fully adjustable suspension. The WP APEX suspension hardware offers complete adjustability for compression, rebound, and preload. This enables riders to achieve an optimal balance between tactile grip on the road and confidence-inspiring efficiency on off-road terrains.
The front USD forks feature 30 clicks each for compression and rebound damping adjustments, while the rear mono-shock offers 20 clicks for rebound adjustment along with 10-step preload adjustability. This level of customization allows riders to fine-tune their ride quality, handling, and comfort according to their individual preferences and the weight they are carrying.
The 203 KTM 390 Adventure SW variant comes with black anodized aluminium rims that houses a thickish wire spokes. It gets 19 inch front wheel and 17 inch rear size.
In terms of appearance, the 390 Adventure spoke wheel variant offers a distinct character. While the standard variant with alloy wheels exudes a commanding presence on the streets, the spoke wheels of the SW variant provide a springy and more approachable feel. The SW variant also showcases a new color scheme, featuring orange-shaded bodywork and a trellis frame. The addition of KTM’s racing livery further enhances the bike’s overall look and feel.
Apart from the spoke wheels and updated color theme, there are no other major changes in the 390 Adventure SW variant.

2023 KTM 390 Adventure spoke wheel variant engine specs
It continues to be powered by a 373cc, single-cylinder engine that produces a max power of 44 horsepower and 37 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Braking duties are handled by a 320 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS and cornering function as standard.
The 390 Adventure comes with a range of additional features, including traction control, riding modes, ride-by-wire technology, and quickshifter+. The bike features a 5-inch TFT screen that displays a wealth of information. The functionalities remain the same as the 2022 model. The display can be paired with the user’s smartphone via Bluetooth using the KTM My Ride app, providing access to various functions, including navigation.
In the Indian market, the KTM 390 Adventure will continue to compete with rivals such as the BMW G310GS and the upcoming Himalayan 450 and Hero XPulse 400. With its new spoke wheel variant and comprehensive feature set, the KTM 390 Adventure aims to offer riders an exceptional blend of style, performance, and off-road capabilities.
