With the introduction of this variant, the Sonet Tech-Line range expands to a total of 6 variants. Positioned between the HTX and HTX+ variants, the Sonet Aurochs Edition is priced Rs 40k higher than the Sonet HTX while being Rs 90k more affordable than the Sonet HTX+. The ex-showroom price of 2023 Kia Sonet Aurochs edition starts from Rs 11.85 lakhs.
What’s new in the 2023 Kia Sonet Aurochs edition
Inspired by the extinct aurochs cattle species, known for their massive size and strength, the Sonet Aurochs Edition incorporates distinctive design elements. The front grille, front and rear skid plates, and doors are adorned with tangerine accents, emphasizing its unique identity. The grille also features the Aurochs Edition emblem, while the skid plates showcase a contrasting dual-tone shade, enhancing the SUV’s street presence.
The side body cladding receives similar treatment, resulting in a more rugged and exclusive profile. The Sonet Aurochs Edition is perfect for those seeking a flamboyant and one-of-a-kind ride.

2023 Kia Sonet Aurochs color options
Notably, the new updates are not applicable to all color options available with the Sonet Tech-Line. While the Sonet HTX is offered in 6 monotone and 2 dual-tone color choices, the Sonet Aurochs Edition is limited to four color options: Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Sparking Silver, and Glacier White Pearl.
The Aurochs Edition misses out on color options such as Intense Red, Imperial Blue, Glacier White Pearl + Aurora Black Pearl, and Intense Red + Aurora Black Pearl.

2023 Kia Sonet Aurochs features
The Sonet Aurochs Edition boasts several exciting features, including R16 crystal cut alloy wheels, tangerine center wheel caps, and an electric sunroof. Most other features remain consistent with the Sonet HTX variant.
Inside the cabin, key highlights of the Sonet Aurochs Edition include a leatherette-wrapped D-cut steering wheel with Sonet logo, silver garnish on AC vents, connected infotainment and cluster design, leatherette-wrapped gear knob, premium headlining, leatherette-wrapped door armrest, and semi-leatherette seats with silver stitching (Beige and Black).

2023 Kia Sonet powertrain
Under the hood, the Sonet Aurochs Edition is equipped with the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine and the 1.5-litre diesel unit. The petrol engine generates 120 PS of maximum power and 172 Nm of peak torque, with transmission options of 6iMT and 7DCT. The diesel motor delivers 116 PS / 250 Nm and is available with either a 6iMT or 6AT transmission.
