The KTM has confirmed the news of its upcoming bike RC 490. Recently bajaj has got the trademark for its twin-cylinder motorcycle and it is expected that this twin-cylinder engine will be used in the upcoming KTM RC 490 as well.

The KTM RC 490 will be a fully faired bike based on the RC 390. The bike will be manufactured in Bajaj’s Chakan plant in Pune, Maharashtra.

The KTM RC 490 will be powered by 490 CC parallel twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that will produce somewhere around 50 PS of power and 45 Nm of torque. The engine of the bike is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and it will have a slipper clutch and assist as well.
