KTM 490 Adventure overview

The KTM has confirmed the news of its upcoming bike 490 Adventure. Recently bajaj has got the trademark for its twin-cylinder motorcycle and it is expected that this twin-cylinder engine will be used in the upcoming KTM 490 Adventure as well.

As the name suggests, the KTM 490 Adventure will be an adventure-tourer bike based on the 390 Adventure. The bike will be manufactured in Bajaj’s Chakan plant in Pune, Maharashtra.

The KTM 490 Adventure will be powered by 490 CC parallel twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that will produce somewhere around 50 PS of power and 45 Nm of torque. The engine of the bike is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and it will have a slipper clutch and assist as well.
