Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG overview
Bajaj has revolutionized the two-wheeler market by launching the world’s first CNG bike in India. The new Bajaj Freedom CNG bike is powered by a 124.58 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 9.5 PS at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.7 Nm at 5000 rpm. The engine of the new CNG bike is coupled with a 5-speed gearbox. It comes with two fuel tanks: one for CNG, which has a capacity of 2 kg, and another 2-liter auxiliary petrol tank.
It comes with telescopic suspension at the front and a first-in-class mono-linked type suspension at the rear. It has an exposed trellis frame along with the longest, most comfortable single-piece seat.
The new Bajaj Freedom comes in three variants: Freedom 125 NG04 Disc LED, Freedom 125 NG04 Drum LED, and Freedom 125 NG04 Drum. The smaller variant comes with a halogen headlamp at the front and a halogen taillight at the back. The higher variant has LED lights all around, including the headlight, taillight, and turn indicators.
The two smaller variants of the Freedom CNG get a small LCD instrument console without any connectivity features, while the top variant gets an inverted full LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity.
Bajaj Freedom CNG bike top speed and mileage
The new Bajaj Freedom 125 can hit a top speed of 90 km/h when running on CNG, while in petrol mode, it can reach a top speed of 93.4 km/h. It offers a mileage of 100 km/kg in CNG mode and 65 kmpl in petrol mode. The combined fuel economy is 82 kmpl.
