Triumph motorcycle has launched the Speed 400 in a collaboration with Bajaj Auto. The new triumph bike will be manufactured by Bajaj Auto in its Chakan plant. Bajaj Dominar 400 on the other hand is very popular motorcycle in 400cc segment that offers good looks, performance and features. Looks:
Looks are subjective, some people will like the look of Speed 400 and some may like Dominar 400. The Speed 400 comes with a cruiser look with retro styling whereas the Dominar 400 comes with sport cruiser and modern look, although there are some modern touch has been given to the Speed 400 as well.
At the front the Speed 400 gets round headlight along with the round ORVMs where as the Dominar 400 gets sporty headlight with sporty ORVMs. Both the bikes gets DRLs and LED lighting all around. Speed 400 gets golden USD forks at the front whereas the Dominar 400 gets silver color USD forks at the front.
The Dominar 400 is available in two color options whereas the Speed 400 is available three dual tone color option. The speed 400 gets single barrel exhaust and the Dominar 400 gets dual barrel exhaust.
The Triumph Speed 400 comes with Analogue digital instrument console whereas the Dominar 400 comes with all digital instrument console. Both the bikes comes with 13 liters of fuel tank and dual channel ABS.

Both the Triumph Speed 400 and Dominar 400 offers great value for money. The Speed 400 in 3 color options whereas the Dominar 400 is offered in 2 color options. Both the bike looks differently but performance is almost same.
The Dominar 400 has smaller engine as compared to the Speed 400 but in overall practicality the Dominar 400 is a well tested motorcycle, it is good for daily commuting as well as long tours. The Speed 400 on the other hand is a new machine inspired by the bigger Triumph Speed 900. The Speed 400 is also a very good bike for doing long tours as well as daily commuting.
Prices of both the motorcycles are almost same but the Speed 400 is offered with Rs 10,000 discount for the first 10,000 buyers. It is a very tough task to say which bike is best because both the bikes are offering great value for money.
