Hyundai Exter Overview
Hyundai has launched its new compact SUV in India that will compete with the likes of Tata Punch and Citroen C3. The new Hyundai Exter is available in 7 variants EX, EX(O), S, S(O), SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect.
Hyundai Exter exterior:
The big Parametric Front Grille on the front face of the SUV draws attention to its modern appeal. The H-Signature LED DRLs, projector headlamps, and sporty skid plate add to the vehicle’s elegant appearance. The EXTER emblem, which highlights the SUV’s distinctive and bespoke character, emphasises its originality and adds to its uniqueness.
On the side, the new Hyundai Exter compact SUV is further accentuated by a diamond cut alloy wheels which is housed inside a blacked out wheel arches and side sill cladding. The sporty bridge-style roof rails and parametric design C-pillar garnish provide a touch of modernity to the floating roof design.
The Exter compact SUV is the first SUV in the segment that comes with a sharkfin antenna. It gets LED turn indicators integrated into the ORVMs that further enhanced visibility and safety on the road. At the rear, the signature-H LED tail lamps add a touch of modernity and style.
In terms of dimension, the Hyundai Exter is 3815 mm long, 1710 mm wide, and 1631 mm tall. It comes with a wheelbase of 2450 mm and a ground clearance of 185 mm.
Exter interior:
Inside the car, it gets a connected type 8 inch HD touchscreen along with an additional 4.2 inch color TFT MID. The SUV comes with Hyundai Bluelink that offers over 60 connected features like buil in navigation, smartphone connectivity through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The EXTER prioritises passenger comfort and features optimal headroom, knee room, leg room, and shoulder room dimensions. The floor height ensures easy entry and leave, while the seats have been built with an optimised height for easy egress. Rear passengers have excellent sight because to a big DLO (Day-Light Opening) and improved rear window glass size. The rear transverse height and low loading height further add to the ease of the roomy cargo area.
The Hyundai Exter is available in 6 monotone color options which includes Atlas White, Cosmic Blue, Fiery Red, Titan Gray, Starry Night, and Ranger Khaki. It is also available in three dual tone color options – Cosmic Blue Two-tone, Atlas White Two-tone, and Ranger Khaki Two-tone.
Hyundai Exter 0-100 kmph and top speed
The all new 2023 Hyundai Exter can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 12 seconds and it can hit a top speed of around 150 kmph.

The new Hyundai Exter is offered with two engine options petrol and CNG. The petrol variant of the Exter offers a mileage of 19.4 kmpl and CNG variant offers a mileage of 27.1 km/kg.
