Yamaha YZF-R7 and MT-09 launching soon 

Yamaha has teased the YZF-R7 and MT-09 in the latest ‘The Call of The Blue’ campaign TVC.

In the teaser both the bike has temporary number plates given by the Tamil Nadu government. 

Both the Yamaha performance bikes are expected to arrive in India via the CBU route. 

Because of the CBU route, the prices of the bikes will be higher because of the huge taxes.

If Yamaha launches this in India, it will be the company’s first BS6 compliant performance bike in the country. 

The Yamaha YZF-R7 super sport is a fully faired version of the naked MT-07

The YZF-R7 is powered by a 689 cc straight twin engine that produces the max power of 72.4 HP and peak torque of 67 Nm

The engine of the YZF-R7 has been developed based on the Yamaha’s Crossplane concept. 

The Yamaha MT-09 is sporty naked by powered by a 890 cc in-line 3 cylinder engine. 

The MT-09 produces the max power of 117 HP and peak torque of 93.6 Nm

Its engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
