They used two BS3 compliant 411 cc long stroke engines of the standard Himalayan to make it 822 cc parallel twin engine.
The standard Himalayan 411 produces 24 bhp and 55 Nm torque while the Himalayan 822 produces somewhere around 40-50 bhp.
The standard Himalayan 411 does not get radiator but the 822cc Himalayan does gets it from Royal Enfield’s 650 cc twins.
