Currently, it comes with 411 cc single-cylinder air cooled engine engine

Royal Enfield is also planning to launch Himalayan 450 and Himalayan 650 in near future.

Meanwhile, a Pune based custom house know as AutoEngine has built a custom Himalayan with 822 cc twin cylinder engine.

The world’s first RE Himalayan 822 was showcased at India Bike Week.

They used two BS3 compliant 411 cc long stroke engines of the standard Himalayan to make it 822 cc parallel twin engine

The standard Himalayan 411 produces 24 bhp and 55 Nm torque while the Himalayan 822 produces somewhere around 40-50 bhp.

The standard Himalayan 411 does not get radiator but the 822cc Himalayan does gets it from Royal Enfield’s 650 cc twins

The custom made engine gets crankcase and camshaft while the engin is mounted on a reinforced chassis with a new subframe.

It gets round LED headlamp unit from Husqvarna and a dual brake setup at the front.

The custom Himalayan 822cc gets new fiber body kit made by Autologue design.
