Hydrogen Powered TVS iQube coming soon

Hydrogen Powered TVS iQube’s patent has been leaked online

The Hosur-based bike maker TVS is silently developing such an advanced technology scooter.

It seems that the company has finished developing the prototype, as seen by the leaked patent, which is essentially an image of the scooter with every component in place.

The hydrogen gas storage canisters are located on the front downtube of the chassis.

Dedicated pipes running under the floorboard connect the cannisters to the hydrogen fuel cells packed beneath the seat.

A conventional battery pack, most likely a lithium ion unit, is also present under the floorboard for use in an emergency.

The battery pack might be charged by regenerative braking and/or by the fuel cells themselves when they produce additional electricity.

The shut-off valve, flow metre, and pressure regulator are located close to the swing arm.

Since there is no motor visible in the patent image, the scooter most likely has a hub motor.

The overall exterior of the upcoming Hydrogen Powered Scooter looks identical to the current TVS iQube

The official launch date of the Hydrogen Powered TVS iQube is not known yet.
