Triumph with a collaboration of Bajaj Auto has launched its much awaited Scrambler 400 X in India that will give tough competition to Royal Enfield Scram 411.
A 400 cc motorcycle segment is heating up as all the bike brands are coming up with their best of the best 400 cc bikes in India. Currently in 400cc segment, we have Dominar 400, Duke 390, Himalayan 411, Scram 411, KTM 390 adventure, Benelli Imperiale 400, Harley Davidson X440, Triumph Speed 400, etc.
Triumph has collaborated with Indian motorcycle brand Bajaj Auto to launch their smallest affordable bikes in India. In July 2023 Bajaj-triumph has unveiled Speed 400 and Scrambler 400. Both the bikes shares same components but with different appearance.
The Speed 400 was launched at Rs 2.33 lakh and now the Scrambler 400 is launched at Rs 2.63 lakh. All the prices ex-showroom.

Scrambler 400 specs and features
The new bajaj-triumph Scrambler 400 X is powered by a TR series 398.15 cc single cylinder liquid cooled DOHC engine that produces a max power of 39.5 PS and peak torque of of 37.5 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6 speed gearbox along with a slipper and assist clutch.
Suspension duties are handled by a 43 mm USD forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. The Scrambler 400X has more suspension travel then the Speed 400. Braking components include 320 mm disc with 4 piston caliper at the front and 230 mm disc with floating caliper at the rear. It comes with a dual channel ABS as standard.
The Scrambler 400X comes with a wheelbase of 1418 mm and a seat height of 841 mm. The motorcycle weighs around 186 kg and it has a fuel tank capacity of 13 liters.
The new Triumph Scrambler motorcycle gets 19 inches 10 spoke alloy wheels at both the ends. The tyre sizes are 100/90 R19 front and 140/80 R17 rear.
The new Triumph motorcycle comes with digital analogue instrument console along with type C charging port, Switchable traction control, Gear position indicator and more. It has LED lights all around.
