Sales of EVs are increasing, and the market for electric vehicles is not lagging behind. This sector has also experienced a lot of action. The Tata Tiago EV is a recent entry to the electric vehicle market. It was the smallest and least expensive electric car up until this point. but no longer.
EaS-E, a new electric microcar with a compact form factor and low cost starting at Rs. 4.79 lakh, has been developed by Indian company PMV Electric. The red colour scheme and black accents are sure to impress with just one glance.
The launch pricing is an introductory price that only applies to the first 10,000 customers. PMV, a start-up from Mumbai, has received more than 6000 bookings for the electric car.
The quadricycle requires a booking fee of Rs. 2000. It is being produced at the company’s Pune plant, and deliveries will start in the middle of 2023.
It is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor that produces torque of 50 Nm and horsepower of 13 HP. It can go from 0 to 40 km/h in under 5 seconds and has a top speed of 70 km/h. The mini electric car weighs around 550 kg.
There will be three range options for the micro electric car: 120, 160, and 200 kilometres. With a 15A socket, charging time is under 4 hours.
PMV EaS-E is a 2-seater electric microcar with cute dimensions and a small footprint. It lacks the side-by-side seating that is found in traditional microcars. PMV EaS-E chose to use a body that is only wide enough to fit two seats, one behind the other. One might compare it to a motorcycle.
The car is 1157 mm wide, 2915 mm long and 1600 mm tall. It has a ground clearance of 170 mm.
Its proportions are sharp in terms of design. The faux grille and LED strip on the front fascia are both finished in black. We have circular headlights with projectors and LEDs hidden below them underneath its DRLs.
They look similar to the 7″ aftermarket headlights of Thar, Royal Enfield, and other vehicles. Despite just having two seats, it has four electrically operated doors and windows. Even the driver’s window has an auto function.
In this compact design, the steering is in the middle, and the driver is greeted by a dash-mounted instrument cluster and an infotainment system as well.
Included in the list of features are a 4G connection, various riding modes, an EaS-E mode for hands-free operation, Remote Parking Assist, Cruise Control, Remote connectivity and diagnostics, Bluetooth connectivity, onboard navigation, access to music control, and call control to a smartphone that is connected.
