The German Performance tuning company Brabus has collaborated with KTM to build something unique and premium as well. Brabus is known for making custom body kits and performance kits for the premium cars such as Mercedes G wagon Brabus 800 and Mercedes Maybach.
Brabus 1300 R
The Brabus 1300 R is essentially a KTM 1290 Super Duke R Evo which is covered in the Brabus body kit. The 1300 R is the world’s first Brabus bike that is limited to 154 units only.
There are only 154 units of the Brabus 1300 R that will be made for the global market out of which 77 units will be in Signature Black color and another 77 units will be in Magma Red. To add the feeling of exclusivity, The Brabus bike will have a limited edition plate with each unit number.

Brabus 1300 R looks and design
Talking about the looks, it has a round headlight with a carbon fiber headlight mask that makes it very difficult to identify the original bike. Brabus has done a lot of work on body panels and almost all exterior body parts are custom made to give it a Brabus touch.
The Brabus bike includes carbon air ducts that flank both sides of the fuel tank and it is not only cosmetic but it is functional too that improving the airflow as well.
The Brabus 1300 R comes with a carbon belly pan, along with a machined triple clamp, machined adjustable front brake, and clutch lever. The chunky, 16-liter fuel tank and swooping minimal tail contribute to the motorcycle’s unique shape.
The KTM 1290 Super Duke R-based Brabus 1300 R also gets Brabus Monoblock Z Lightweight, nine-spoke forged wheels, and a tastefully executed, black ceramic-coated double-pipe exhaust. Adding a touch of premium-ness is the seat, which is set at 845mm, features a quilted pattern, and can be heated as well.

There are only 154 units of the Brabus 1300 R bike that will be manufactured and it is priced at 34,549 GBP which is approximately Rs 35 lakh in Indian rupees.

KTM 1290 Super Duke R Evo specification
The KTM 1290 super Duke R Evo comes with a 1301 cc V-twin cylinder engine that produces a max power of 180 hp and a peak torque of 140 Nm. The bike comes with a 6-speed gearbox along with a slipper clutch.
The 1290 super duke comes with a WP Apex semi-active USD fork at the front and mono-shock suspension at the rear. For safety, the bike comes equipped with cornering as well as supermoto ABS.
