The Yamaha MT-15 V2 is powered by a 155 cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve, single-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology. It produces a maximum power of 18.4 PS at 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14.1 Nm at 7,500 rpm, paired with a refined 6-speed gearbox. The engine is further complemented by an assist & slipper clutch, offering smoother gear shifts and preventing wheel hop during aggressive downshifts.

The 2025 model meets BS6 Phase II emission norms and is equipped with advanced features such as a Yamaha Y-Connect-enabled fully digital LCD console, Bluetooth connectivity for call/SMS alerts and phone battery status, and a side-stand engine cut-off for added safety.
